Seven working states of CNC punching machine

(1) Edit status of CNC punch press (EDIT)
In this state, edit the processing program file stored in the CNC memory. Editing operations include insertion, modification, deletion and word replacement. Editing operations also include deleting the entire program and automatically inserting sequence numbers. Extended program editing functions include copy, move and program merging.

 
(2) NC punch press storage operation status (MEM)
Also known as automatic operation state (AUT0). In this state, the processing program running by the system is the program in the system memory. When one of these programs is selected and the cycle start button on the machine operation panel is pressed, automatic operation is started, and the cycle start lamp is on. The memory is running in automatic operation. When the feed pause button on the machine operation panel is pressed, the automatic operation is temporarily suspended. When the cycle start button is pressed again, the automatic operation restarts.

 
(3) Manual data input status of CNC punch press (MDI)
In this state, a program of up to 10 lines can be programmed and executed through the MDI panel, and the program format is the same as the usual program. MDI operation is suitable for simple test operations (in this state, system parameters and various compensation values ​​can also be modified and set).

 
(4) Handwheel feed state of CNC punch press (HND)
In this state, the tool can be moved slightly by rotating the manual pulse generator on the operation panel of the machine tool. Use the wheel feed axis selection switch to select the axis to be moved. The minimum distance the tool moves when the hand pulse generator rotates one scale is equal to the minimum input increment. When the hand pulse generator rotates one scale, the distance of the tool movement can be magnified by l times, 10 times, 100 times or 1000 times the minimum input increase (selected by the handwheel magnification switch).

 
(5) CNC punch press manual continuous feed state (JOG)
In this state, continuously pressing the feed axis and its direction selection switch on the operation panel will cause the tool to move continuously along the selected direction of the axis. The maximum speed of manual continuous feed is set by the system parameters, and the feed speed can be adjusted by the override switch. Pressing the rapid traverse switch will make the tool move rapidly (set by the system parameter), regardless of the position of the JOG override switch. This function is called manual rapid traverse.

 
(6) CNC punch press return to reference point (REF)
That is, the machine zero state (zRN) is determined. In this state, the operation of manually returning to the machine reference point can be realized. By returning to the reference point of the machine tool, the CNC system determines the position of the machine zero point.

 
(7) CNC punch DNC operating status (RMT)
In this state, you can communicate with the computer through the reader (processing paper tape program) or RS-232 communication gate to realize online processing of CNC machine tools. During DNc processing, the program that the system runs is the program in the system buffer, which does not occupy the system's memory space. It is the basic configuration of the current CNC punching machine.
