Difference between hydraulic and mechanical punching

2021-06-22

The definition of hydraulic CNC punching machine: the hydraulic pump presses the hydraulic oil into high pressure, and the punch of the hydraulic cylinder hits the die to form up and down reciprocating motions for punching processing.
Definition of mechanical type cnc punching machine: The motor drives the flywheel through a gear pair and a crank slider mechanism to change the rotary motion into up and down reciprocating motion for stamping processing.

Difference 1: The hydraulic numerical control punch converts electrical energy into hydraulic power to form mechanical energy, and the mechanical punch converts electrical energy into mechanical energy through mechanical transmission.
Difference 2: The nominal force stroke is different. The nominal force stroke of hydraulic CNC punching machine is generally smaller, which is suitable for punching and blanking of thin plates. However, the nominal force stroke of the mechanical punch is greater than that of the CNC punch. On the basis of conventional punching and punching, some complicated processes such as bending, forming, and shallow drawing can be carried out.
Difference 3: The mechanical punching machine can replace the punching die with the turntable, and use the program to carry out complex feeding and stepping through the feeding system, which can punch some special-shaped parts, while the mechanical punching die is fixed and can only punch some fixed-shaped parts.
